Kids Picnic and Games (Gifted WA and Mensa joint event)

For the third year running Gifted WA and MENSA have joined to host a combined event bringing together members from both organisation for a social gathering to launch Gifted Awareness Week 2021.

You're invited to a BYO picnic from 12:30pm. We will have Lego, Duplo, stepping stones and magnet tiles set up on large mats, as well as free face painting from 12:30-2:30pm!

At 2:00pm we will have a host an open panel discussion for parents. This year the panel will include Dean Tollis (Gifted WA Chair; parent), Dr Kate Burton (Co-founder of Gifted WA; psychotherapist; counsellor; parent), Melissa Morrison (Gifted WA secretary; teacher; parent), Amanda Rogers (MENSA Event Co-ordinator; Gifted WA committee member; teacher; parent) and Chee Wong (MENSA Gifted Children’s Co-ordinator; educator; parent).

This was a huge success last year and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the launch of Gifted Awareness Week.
