We’re dedicated to meeting the social, emotional and intellectual needs of young people of higher cognitive potential.

Whether you want to learn more about giftedness, twice exceptionality, attend educational events, network, find resources or, help to advocate, our passionate team will help you.

Our work ranges from creating events for gifted parents and families, professional development for teachers, networking, research, offering support for people in crisis, working with low socio-economic schools and meeting with policymakers

We’re passionate about supporting the balanced development of all gifted children and adolescents. We are a not-for-profit organisation and in order to provide this support we rely on membership fees. Gifted WA is affiliated with the AAEGT (Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented). When you become a member of Gifted WA you automatically become a member of AAEGT and receive the associated benefits related to this. This includes access to online journals and discounts to national conferences.

By becoming a member of Gifted WA you’ll also be the first to hear about our latest events, have access to up-to-date research, while also helping us in our mission to improve academic, social and emotional outcomes for all gifted young people via our advocacy and awareness efforts at both state and national level.
